Yana’s debut EP contains three previously released singles and one very special track, a tribute to the late Fergus O’Farrell of Interference, Yana’s biggest songwriting influence and dearly missed friend. For this song, she teamed up with Liam Oragh who put her lyrics to music. The acclaimed fiddle player Colm Mac Con Iomaire (The Frames) added a haunting emotional layer to the track.
The song seems to be the favourite of listeners and radio presenters alike. One of the highest praises has been an airplay on RTÉ Radio 1’s Late Date, thanks to Fiachna Ó Braonáin for that.
